CROSS-RELIGIOUS COOPERATION

Religious leaders in Jerusalem convened a special prayer for the health of the world's residents.


Initiated by the mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, today the heads of all religions, in his office, and prayed for the health of the world's people, following the global crisis and the outbreak of the Corona virus.



Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon: "The Corona virus drops many spaces in the world. It does not distinguish between religions, states, nationalities or continents. The danger hovers over everyone, And so is the responsibility for all of us, each and every one of us. Everyone will pray to Gd, and all nations will know that Gd is the name of one".

The exciting class took place in the face of the spectacular view of Jerusalem. The heads of all unified religions prayed for the health of the sick and hoped that the corona that disrupted the entire world would be cut off.


Participating in the ceremony were the rabbis of the city of Jerusalem, the first to mark Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar and Rabbi Aryeh Stern, the Druze Sheikh Mofak Tarif; Patriarch Theopoulos III, Acting Patriarch - Pierre Battista Pizzabella, Armenian Patriarch - Noran Manijuan Costos Francisco Bitton; ; Sheikh Muhammad Kiwan Sheikh Atel Atarsh.


During the event, the religious leaders carried greetings, and the event ended with our ancient Jewish prayer: The Lord in heaven, he in his mercy, will bestow peace upon us, upon the children of Israel and upon the whole Universe. Amen.
